Marrying well

Larrys_car My wife and I were on the way to the airport last week when we got a flat tire.  We were still 10 miles away and had just over 60 minutes until our flight.  I pulled off the freeway and into a parking lot and opened the trunk to start changing the tire. I had everything I needed except a small hex key that is necessary to get at the lug bolts.  No hex key,  no tire change.  I was really starting to sweat.  I was due in Oakland that day to consult with Terri Klaus of theAdora  Adora Bella Salon in Danville California.  All I could think of was how I was going to let them down.  Fortunately for me I married well.  While I was ready to kick the tire and start swearing,  my wife calmly called for a cab. Cab  The cab arrived shortly,  we left the car in the parking lot,  and made our flight just in time.  I’m not sure what the moral of the story is except that when you surround yourself with great people it makes you better too.  Luckily I have.  A rising tide raises all ships.
