We’ve
all heard that you can’t judge a book by its cover. But in fact, we
do judge a book by its cover. The
number one reason people buy a book is its title; the number two reason is the cover artwork; the third motivation is the authors
name; and somewhere down near the
bottom of the list is the actual content of the book. Appearance matters. What are you trying to communicate by how you look? “I just got out of bed.” or “I’m the most successful employee
here.” Don’t fool yourself by
thinking that you haven’t said a lot about yourself just by walking into a
room. Other people will assess you
the minute you walk through the door. And although appearance is not more important than substance, it does count. If we want our guests to
trust us, we must look the part of
at true beauty professional.
