The Makeup Artistry program at Taylor Andrews is a specialized two-week intensive program specifically designed around building a strong foundation for your makeup career in the fashion, film, print, salon, retail, and bridal industries. Our qualified instructors provide opportunities to create special effects, classic, edgy, cultural, and glam, to name a few different types of looks. We can help you take your art to the next level and help you become an indispensable asset to a range of prospective clients. All makeup classes are held at the West Jordan campus. If the full-time program doesn’t fit into your busy schedule, we also offer night classes.

Build on your talent at Taylor Andrews Academy, a makeup school for students who are serious about learning professional makeup skills. Our 50-hour makeup artistry program is taught by dedicated instructors who make learning fun. Students who take the daytime program can finish in as little as two weeks. There is also a part-time program offered with nighttime hours, so you can fit makeup artistry classes into your busy life.
Students can learn how to analyze facial features and how to choose and apply different types of makeup to create several looks. Different techniques are used depending on the look you’re going for. Learn how to create the perfect look for a fashion show, a striking look for a photo shoot, a beautiful bridal look, and more. Learning professional techniques is rounded out by a focus on the business aspects of the beauty industry. We also have national guest artists visit our school to encourage and inspire our students.

- Day School: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

0Is the Makeup Artistry program really only two weeks?
Yes! This intensive program is 50 hours. If you choose the full-time program schedule, you can finish in only two weeks. The part-time program takes a little longer, but you can benefit from the same curriculum.
0What type of equipment is included in the makeup kit?
The makeup kit that goes along with this course is a MAC Deluxe Colour Makeup Kit. Students also get a MAC Artist Tool Kit and a professional makeup case.

This 50-hour course costs $2,500 and includes makeup kits and other materials needed for the course.
0Is financial aid available for students who want to attend the Makeup Artistry course?
For this particular program, financial aid is not available. However, you may be able to get a private loan from a bank, credit union, or other financial institution. You can also make use of our school’s payment plan, if you wish.
