Now Offering Barbering Program at our Orem, Utah Campus
Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design now offers its barbering program to students at its campus in Orem, Utah. The program has already been available at the school’s West Jordan, Utah campus.
The barbering program teaches students the latest hairstyling trends and techniques as well as the business management skills involved in running a barber shop. The courses included in the barbering program will teach students the gentleman’s cut, pompadour, high and tight, beard and mustache design, tapering, fading, how to hot lather shave, general styling techniques and women’s haircutting.
The Taylor Andrews barbering program is formatted like its cosmetology and makeup artistry programs and includes class lectures, business classes and individualized training with experienced instructors. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with basic and advanced barbering techniques and prepared to sit for the state’s barbering license exam.
The hair design and cosmetology school offers career guidance and placement, opportunities for students to study abroad and experience occasional trips to New York and Los Angeles. All three of its Utah campuses also offer externships, financial aid, and flexible scheduling and state-of-the-art facilities. Students of Taylor Andrews also get to hear regularly from national guest artists and have photoshoots done of their work to enhance their professional portfolio.
New classes will start every six weeks.
